WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT COVID-19

  • To  protect yourself, your host family, and your community, we strongly recommend that you stay home during this time. Social-distancing, if done correctly, can slow transmission from person to person. We are making the same recommendation to your host family.
  • Social gatherings of any kind should be postponed until COVID-19 is under control
  • If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please follow instructions from the Public Health Agency of Canada: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/symptoms.html#i and inform your Relationship Manager of the outcome. If you cannot reach your Relationship Manager, please call our emergency line at 1-877-441-4443 ext. 1.
  • Read all communications from your school and school board CAREFULLY for more information specific to your program and community

We continue to monitor COVID-19 and school closures closely, and will revise our approach immediately as new information becomes available.

To get the latest facts on COVID-19 in Canada, please take moment to review the Public Health Agency of Canada’s website:https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection.html

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding!
