Dear CHN Student,
We understand that this is a challenging time to be away from your family and would like to remind you that you’re not alone. Your host family and your CHN Relationship Manager are here to support you and we hope you will contact us anytime you need help.

  • To  protect yourself, your host family, and your community, we strongly recommend that you stay home during this time. Social-distancing, if done correctly, can slow transmission from person to person. We are making the same recommendation to your host family.
  • Social gatherings of any kind should be postponed until COVID-19 is under control 
  • If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please follow instructions from the Public Health Agency of Canada: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/symptoms.html#i and inform your Relationship Manager of the outcome. If you cannot reach your Relationship Manager, please call our emergency line at 1-877-441-4443 ext. 1.
  • Read all communications from your school and school board CAREFULLY for more information specific to your program and community
